Yusen Logistics to open Narita Logistics Center No. 2 at Narita Healthcare Terminal in 2023

Yusen Logistics Co. Ltd. President Mr Toru Kamiyama has announced the opening of a new warehouse located in Shibayama-machi, Sambu-gun, Chiba. In April 2023, the Narita Logistics Center No. 2 operation will officially launch at the Narita Healthcare Terminal.

Narita Logistics Center No. 2 – Operations

The Narita Logistics Center No. 2 will be located about a ten-minute drive from Narita International Airport. Yusen Logistics Co. Ltd. has plans to obtain the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification for the facility and additionally aims to acquire a CLASS-A, the highest security standard certified by TAPA (Transported Asset Protection Association), for the safe management of customer cargo. The Narita Healthcare Terminal will be able to handle packing in the latest passive containers, and it will expand the scope of the CEIV Pharma certification (The Center of Excellence for Independent Validators) to provide tailor-made logistics services with high global quality standards.

Furthermore, the opening of the Narita Healthcare Terminal will comply with the GDP (Good Distribution Practice) standards and will further expand the pharmaceutical logistics operations, including a total of 48 operation bases in 27 countries and regions around the world that will all comply with our global GDP standards. Moreover, there will be various temperature zones and emergency power supplies installed in the facility as a precaution against BCP.
