Data monitored by the State Post Bureau of China revealed that postal and express companies handled up to 535 million shipments on the “Double 11” (Singles Day) of 2019, which was three times the normal daily handling capacity, as well as year-on-year growth of 28.6%, reaching a record high.

This shopping spree is deemed to be an ‘annual test’ for air freight businesses. From November 11th to November 17th, 2019, SF Airlines, an air cargo company based in Shenzhen, China witnessed a nearly 30% freight volume increase over the previous year, among which shipments of electronics and fresh products increased by a large margin.

SF Airlines marked its 10th anniversary in 2019 and has grown its all-cargo fleet to almost 60 aircraft and serves more than 60 destinations around the globe. The annual “Double 11” express logistics peak continues to show growth year over year and reflects a huge potential and broad space for development for air courier services in China.
