MAI Chooses Sky Pacific Thailand as GSA

Myanmar Airways (MAI) have announced that Sky Pacific Thailand will be their new General Sales Agent (GSA) for the Thai market.

The appointment will have Sky Pacific handling the airline’s marketing activities, sales development, bookings and ticketing services within Thailand as well as conducting direct support services to the Thai travel trade.

The final signatures were inked by Mr. Suwit Ratanachinda, MD of Skypacific and Mr. Kyaw Han, Chief Operating Officer of Myanmar Airways International.

MAI is already present in GDS and BSP and operates twice-daily flights (Monday to Sunday) from Yangon to Bangkok. Sky Pacific, having its main office in Bangkok, is headed by Mr. Suwit Ratanachinda, Managing Director, who has more than 30 years of experience in the transport industry.

MAI is an IOSA certificated carrier and member of IATA and in 2016 was acquired by KBZ group and merged with KBZ Airline. MAI and KBZ offer the wider domestic network in Myanmar and the most attractive international connections. MAI in cooperation with interline and code-share partner offers also worldwide destinations.

Sky Pacific Thailand is a General Sales Agency company based in Bangkok and with its own South East Asia network. Sky Pacific has wide range of services such as, but not limited to; GSSA Cargo and Passenger, Airport Handling Supervision, Charters, Aircraft Leasing, AOG services and more.
