FedEx Express have announced the launch of their new integrated facility in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. The new NAKA station will enhance FedEx service capabilities in the northeastern region and throughout the country.

The NAKA station is an integrated warehouse and sorting facility for both FedEx and TNT operations that will enhance the overall customer experience. Measuring 1,277 square metres, the warehouse operates 24 hours a day and is capable of processing over 1,000 packages daily.

Nakhon Ratchasima, the geographical gateway to Thailand’s northeastern region, is a key province in the government’s plan to make Thailand a logistics hub for ASEAN. The logistics sector is an important economic driver for Nakhon Ratchasima, supporting the continuous growth of local industry, especially manufacturing. The province has 7,513 factories, with Gross Provincial Product (GPP) of 264,964 million baht, and is a hub for more than 300,000 shipping containers per year

“At FedEx we are committed to the growth of Nakhon Ratchasima’s logistics infrastructure, optimizing our regional and global connectivity to support local business, and creating more possibilities for small, medium and large enterprises to import and export goods. We hope that the NAKA facility will play an important role in enhancing Nakhon Ratchasima as a logistic hub for Thailand’s northeastern region and for Thailand as a whole,” said Gina Galvin, Managing Director, FedEx Express Thailand.
