Bolloré Logistics Sustainable Flight Challenge

Bolloré Logistics has participated in the Sustainable Flight Challenge organised by SkyTeam in collaboration with Air France KLM Martinair Cargo (AFKLM). The aim is to operate a single flight in the most sustainable manner possible. In addition, the company was delighted to participate through its REcycle offer, a pioneer project on reusable consumables cutting the use of plastic on air pallets.

The company has co-designed an innovative reusable cover and built the first large-scale project with those assets. As a result, since January 2022, over 300 kg of plastic were already saved on weekly pallets shipped between Paris and Bangkok.

Bolloré Logistics contributes to the challenge by handling a shipment from Paris – Charles de Gaulle to Montreal with one of its reusable air pallet covers. The company’s action with AFKLM also extends through a Sustainable Aviation Fuel partnership.
